Our Mission

The Rivendell Trails Association (RTA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to maintaining and promoting the Cross Rivendell Trail as a public resource for outdoor recreation and community engagement. We support opportunities for all people to enjoy the trail as a space for exploration, education, and connection to the natural and cultural landscape of our region. The RTA works throughout the year to care for the trail, collaborate with landowners and partners, organize events, and encourage responsible, inclusive use of this shared resource. Our membership includes volunteers, donors, landowners, and community members from the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire and beyond.
